Flooring is priced by the square footage, the material you choose, whether the old floor has to come out first, the condition and levelness of the subfloor underneath, and how much trim, transition and stair work the job includes. Single room: 1–3 days. Whole-floor LVP install on one level: 3–5 days. Hardwood refinish (sand + finish): 4–6 days plus cure.
